4. Giving an agent hands

Agentic

Adjective for systems built around agents acting in loops, versus single question-and-answer calls. "Agentic workflow" = one where the AI takes multi-step action on its own.

Why it matters: mostly a signpost word. When a vendor says "agentic," ask the real question: what can it do without a human clicking approve, and what happens when a step fails?
